Prepping now for a security training weekend. It is called 'Personal Security in Emergencies' and we've been warmed ...'if you have suffered or witnessed a traumatic event such as shooting or killing of civilians then please contact us prior to arrival'......wtf?
Anyway, this training is required for the volunteer work I do in the event of natural disasters and emergencies and best I learn how to deal with such stress and situations in a 'safe' environment rather than in real life. However, it is doubtful whether I will be any more prepared. I hope it never happens to me.
Also confirmed my attendance as a trainer in Kuopio, Finland in a few weeks. Also related to the charity me and a colleague will be running a training course for some UN staff members and should be fun. No time to see Finland unfortunately.
Work is boring atm. Friends have been MSN'ing me and asking about me and life. It's good to have friends who care.
