First full day back at work after delivering a three day training course. Busy with co-ordinating Save the Children and supporting the MA charity with some backend computer stuff. The news from the field team is that supplies are still not getting through to where they are needed with many roads simply not there anymore. Heavy lift helicopters are needed and only the Americans have some and they are in Afghanistan.
MA are doing brilliantly with maps now being sent back and updated as required. I am doing what I can but I really want to get myself deployed. They have asked me to go but due to work comittments I can't go, at least not immediately.
Hopefully there will be an opportunity coming up soon.
However, things are busy, busy here.
