Where The Hell Is Matt? - Videos
OK so I got to this Internet phenomena quite late, it's already a massive hit and I *think* I heard about him a while ago. Anyway, I got this video on my BestofYouTube podcast from iTunes and was blown away by it.Interestingly, a recent stag do had a few chaps attending who also had seen it and shared their views on it.
What's so special about it? It's a 31 year old bloke dancing (badly) around the world and locals gleefully joining in. However, I guarantee that after watching it, you'll feel quite warm and fuzzy. To me, seeing so many people around the world just, enjoying the interaction, the feeling of connectedness with this crazy bloke, gyrating like an idiot on speed, it brings out something in me. I think it's the affirmation that people all around the world, are the same. That the world isn't as bad as we think it is. There are still many decent people around.
I love it.
The soundtrack is called Praan and and a quick google it brings these links here and here.
Quite amazing really some of the emotions kicked off by it. I do love the soundtrack and it fits in with the video very well.

Awesome.
I first watched this without sound (broken on my laptop) and it really didn't seem so great - the music really brings something extra to it - great choice.
However, as well as the feel-good factor, I can't watch it without feeling a little bit jealous that he's getting to travel around, sponsored, to all those places.
