Day feels and looks miserable. I want to sleep in late today - probably do it tomorrow as I needed to do the laundry. Planning on a visit to the Museum of Natural History and attending one of the shows there. Other museums still on the list include the Museum of the Chinese and the International Center for Photography.

Looks like the coalition forces have captured the airport - I hope this ends soon and the killing stops. I have noticed that no US news network are covering the Iraqi dead - all figures and news are quoted from either Al-Jazerra or the BBC. Instead, I am told to feast upon the 'embeds' as they partake in the 'firefight' of their lives. Let the soldiers be and let them do their jobs for chrissakes!
