The rhetoric is increasingly becoming more war-like from the US Whitehouse. It is almost like they are working from a script: 'Day one = call them a 'rogue state'. Day two = accuse them of WMD. Day three = accuse them of harbouring Saddam himself. Day four = accuse them of harbouring terrorist and give them an ultimatum to eject said terrorists otherwise we will attack. Day five = Attack. I suspect that Bush et al DOES have a list of countries that he wants to 'teach a lesson'. The list (I guess) includes: Iraq, Iran, Syria, North Korea (christ, no) and possibly China (even worse). The Axis of evil has suddenly been doubled.

Funnily enough, Usama Bin Laden is still at large. I think Al-Qaida may have been hurt but it is in no way down and out. The anticipated terrorist attacks has not, thankfully, materialised but this could be due to the fact that not many in the Arab world actually liked Saddam or his regime and were glad to see it fall.Maybe they are all waiting for a signal and then launch a single wave of devasting attacks?

While the US has been using quite harsh language for Syria, Britain has taken a different tone. Maybe the British government has been aware that they were a little too close to the US and were stung by the accusation that they were 'poodles' pandering to President Bush's whims. Possibly.

On the job front: work is going ok for me and the weather is improving so much that I am seeing people in shorts outside! Surely this is the sign for spring and summer?
