The trailers for Matrix:Reloaded look tasty and I have also been scanning the short anime movies online related to the Matrix :Detective Story, Renaissance, Flight of the Osiris; the latter I have been told, sets the scene for the film itself and the movie short was directed by the Wachowski brothers. The news is still quite thin on the ground when concerned with the film itself but the release is this week so I am hanging on and scanning all movie news.

Dunno what is going on in Iraq: by the sounds of it; many cities are still without sewage, power or clean water. While this is partly due to the neglect throughout the reign of Saddam, the war certainly didn't help. I think the goodwill and gratitude of the Iraqis is starting to run out. The US and British Armies did well (I feel there was no doubt that they were going to win) but now they are acting as the police, the emergency services and other jobs they are not equipped to handle. I hope Iraq doesn't completely go to crap and that all the revenue from the oil is used to rebuild an Iraq for the Iraqis.
