Went to a conference and met up with a trio of my ex-university chums. It was nice seeing them and made me realise that times have changed a lot for all of us. We're older for one thing and we all seem to have put on some extra weight too....At least a few of us are still in the same job field!

This week I am also almost broke - funny feeling for me as I normally am very careful with my speeding but after buying a PC for myself, I also got bills for electricity, gas and car service. Not to mention general speeding that has been a bit high of late. All of this and my girlfriend is thinking of visiting me!

Look forward to my next pay checque but am concerned this situation has been allowed to develop and even after a few years I still feel that I am doing everything to keep myself afloat. Must spend some time to review my finances once more.
