I am disappointed with the Hutton report...am I to believe that the Government was not lying about WMDs? Even the Americans are saying that WMDs are not to be seen and doubtful if Saddam, ever had enough to threaten anyone. So, the basis of the war was false. The Government lied to us.

Of course, I am not a Saddam loyalist or anything - he is a brutal dictator and had to go, I just hate the hypocrisy of the Government and the fact that we went in for oil, oil & oil. Why can't we just say it loud and proud: 'the western lifestyle must be maintained therefore we had to invade Iraq.....' - of course, the chattering classes certainly don't want to hear this. Nor do I really. Guess I am as bad as the Government. Oh well, I guess we're all going to hell.
