Terminator: Salvation.
Christian Bale as John Connor eh? Good choice but the trailer I think spoils the film. However, looking forward to it.

Golden Compass
I watched this last night and recommend it, though it didn't leave me gasping for me. The film certainly had the 'beginning of a three-parter' to it as many of you all know, the 'The Golden Compass' (aka 'The Northern Nights' here in the UK) is the first of a trilogy by Phil Pullman. It ended a bit sooner than the book, certainly -I was expecting Lyra to be making her way, alone to the Aurora in pursuit of her dad, Lord Azrael, well cast with Daniel Craig. Also, at this time, Lord Azrael explained the very odd nature of dust and how it was all linked up with God and the beginning of time. In fact, the entire trilogy is quite anti-Christian /anti-religious and there were questions on whether the film would get any funding at all, with the expectation of a negative viewing in the USA. Maybe they decided to tone it down and therefore sell-out?
Iorek, the ice-bear is superb considering it's CGI with Ian McKellan giving his voice to this magnificent creation. Sam Eliott is Lee Scoresby, my favourite character from the books, while Nicole Kidman is a very apt Ann Coulter. Right down to her blue-eyed stare.
Anyway, 'Beowulf' is on the horizon and that looks superb. I have Transformers and Heroes to watch over the next two nights. I better get going.
