Summer is definetly here and I am sneezing my head off. Damn hay fever - I think I am allergic to tree pollen! May whizzed by as work was manic and getting more so. I can see how the work may get so hectic that I am too busy to enjoy work. Spending my time merely reacting to work problems and never getting to do what I really want to do at work. I am still focused and enjoying work but less so than early this year. Maybe I feel that it is an uphill struggle with little help. I don't know.

I voted for the European elections and glad that I got the vote in - what with all the postal voting problems we are experiencing. I am sure that this mid-term election will be for most of the voters to register their disapproval of T Blair and he will probably be a bit stung on this. No matter, a little pain is good for the soul.

Domestically, damn - DIY and painting has eaten a lot of my time and the open jar of white spirits is giving me headaches. Plan is to jazz up the kitchen but I am nervous about tackling the plumbing job. I could make a complete mess of things. Anyway, laying the flooring should be relatively straight forward and that is the next task ahead of me.

We got an Apple Mac into work - since we're a MS shop it was quite a coup for us. Lovely looking machine and very sleak and smooth right down to the mouse. I have to admit apple knows about style.

As for style and my lack of - have decided to go out and refresh my wardrobe and do a proper clear out. Anything I haven't worn in the last three years is going to charity (apart from my dinner jacket) and I will see what room I have left. Shopping for clothes, should be fun. I think some feminine help may be in order.
