American History X was just on and what a film - one of my favourite films. Ed Norton is brilliant, powerful and mesmerising. Deserved an oscar for it really.

Hot day today and I had my first training / preparatory run for the upcoming 8K cross country run that I have signed up for. This should be a challenge as I want to beat my time from last year. I hope I can as I think I have been improving all the time. The last two days have been hot as well but not too hot. Just right, however I detect that the autumn season is just round the corner as hints of it can be seen when the sun starts to set. There is a lovely glow and warmth about the sunset. I am looking forward to the leaves all turning golden and brown and the change in the air. Can't wait. Off to bed now, been a long day but there you go.
